We invite you to join the virtual event "Investing in Alameda County’s Future by Supporting a Path from Incarceration to Career" to discuss how our community can best embrace and invest in residents returning home from jail and prison. Member organizations from the Alameda County Better Careers Design Group will present new pilot programs, including the Returning Home Career Grant which will offer monthly stipends and mentorship to help returning residents build their careers. Representatives from Supervisor Keith Carson’s office in District 5 and ReWork the Bay will discuss the complementary community programs and supports that need to be in place for formerly incarcerated people to thrive.
